JACOB SPANGENBERG
Coach
Jacob was drawn to the strong sense of community and the motivating group environment that MSF fosters. His entire family are also active members, and their positive experiences played a key role in his decision to join. Jacob brings a diverse athletic background to MSF, having competed in 11 different sports over the years. During high school, he participated in six sports, with football as his primary focus. He also achieved top-10 national rankings for two consecutive years in orienteering, a land navigation sport that demands both physical endurance and mental strategy.
Through these varied athletic experiences, Jacob has gained insight into a wide range of coaching and leadership styles. His time in leadership roles provided valuable opportunities to mentor and coach younger athletes, giving him a well-rounded understanding of both the athlete’s and coach’s perspectives.
Since joining MSF, Jacob has continued to grow as an athlete and has begun competing in CrossFit competitions. He is committed to continual improvement and strives to become the best version of himself—both physically and mentally—through the challenges and rewards of training.
